The End of an Era...

We packed our son up from Bozeman this weekend.  He and his terrific girlfriend, Shelby, spent a couple of days with us. And, this morning we said our goodbyes and they are off to Oregon.  The whole experience was bitter sweet.  I am so happy to have raised a child that is ready and willing to go out into the world, try new things and make his way in life.  On the other hand... I'm going to miss that kid!  But, the good news is that we live in a world of technology.  We can keep up with phone calls, face chats, texts, Facebook, etc.  So, it's not the end of the world, just the end of an era. Now we have a very good reason to make our way to Oregon for visits.  And, we actually have other family and friends there too.  Maybe on one of Carla's hospital visits to Seattle he could come and see us, or we could make our way down to see him...

Anyway, here's to our boy... Going out, living life, making his way and enjoying himself.  We love him so much and are so very proud of him.

Love, Jen

Cody and Carla hugging, Shelby, smiling and being her beautiful self.

The kids :) We are so blessed...
Saying goodbyes...

Leaving...

One last embrace...

And they are on their way...

Drive safe!  Call when you get there!  We love you!!!!
