Disney on Ice!

Disney on Ice was, in true Disney fashion, spectacular!  We made a whole night of it, had so much fun, and Carla was so excited that she thought she might explode!  Driving home afterwards reminded us of all the nights we drove back to Give Kids the World from Disney World last year.  Carla's Make a Wish somehow filled us back up with happiness and a new zest for life ... after months in the hospital and almost losing Carla so many times completely depleted us in every way.  Disney on Ice filled us up with joy and happiness the same way.  :)  It was a nice reminder of that amazing trip we took, and the feelings it gave us.  And honestly, something we could have never done in Montana.  So, we are thankful to be in a place that offers us opportunities such as this :)  After Carla gets her perfect heart and is doing well we look forward to taking her to Disneyland.  I think she would love that!

Last night I had a dream that we finally got "the call" and were at the hospital waiting for surgery.  We have been waiting so long now that it almost feels like it is never going to happen ... I'm fine with that as long as Carla stays as well as she has been. Let's all keep our fingers & toes crossed that she remains as well as she has been and that we get the call for her perfect heart in God's perfect timing.  Until then, we will continue to wait and we will also continue to enjoy as much about living in "the city" as we can!

So, without further ado ... here are the pictures from our special night!

Carla's excitement could not be contained when we told her what our plan for the evening was!

Daddy and Carla, at Red Robin.

Mommy, at Red Robin.

Taking a bite of Daddy's burger, Carla loved it!

Look at these huge fries!

Being super cute!

And now for the dessert!

A strawberry brownie & ice cream dish that was pretty amazing :)

And, Carla wanted the Mud Pie :)

Do you see a resemblance?  I actually have a picture of my Mom doing the same thing with a huge bowl of ice cream
And here it is!  Who do you think we got our hammy-ness from ?  :)

Waiting outside the stadium :)

And we found our seats...

Waiting for the show to start..

The beginning of the show ...

During the show. ..

It was really hard to get pictures...

The Tangled set...

The grand finally...

Cinderella...

Totally engrossed in the show...

They even had Maximus the horse!

Everyone is skating by, waving...

Carla's waving goodbye to them as well...
It was a spectacular night...

Love, Jen
